What is Breathing for Health?

Perhaps you suffer from anxiety and stress, but have been disappointed in the failure of our current medical system… prescription medications which don’t help, or have unwanted side effects. Maybe you are tired of being a passive patient and want to take an active role in your own healing, but aren’t sure where to begin.
My goal is to help you heal, through calming your nervous system using the breath, imagery and other practices. You can work with me in private 1:1 sessions (see Coaching page) or in a group course.
6-week online peer-learning group/class
Many courses only address the mental-informational level, whereas this one is highly experiential: you’ll have tools you can use right away! You will connect with your body and its wisdom through deep relaxation and entry into alpha-theta brainwave states.
This is an opportunity to be seen and heard by a peer group, to feel the support of other women, as you co-create with me a class that will best serve all participants’ needs. You‘ll develop the ability to relax deeply and experience the ease of visualizing outcomes you want in your mental-physical health and other aspects of life. I’m looking for five pioneers to co-create this class.
Transformation: Imagine being able to easily release tension and stress, and breathe away anxiety. You’ll experience the power of slow heart breathing and the insights that arise when your heart and brain are in sync. Imagine the “new normal” for you: a lower baseline level of anxiety—feeling calm instead of tense or fearful, and able to rapidly recover from difficult moments. Feel the warmth of support from peers who understand and want you to succeed. Each person will have an “accountability partner” (Team of Two) to encourage one another.
Imagine the feeling of freedom when your stress-related symptoms have greatly reduced, and the power of knowing that you can heal yourself.
We will address your unique needs in three one-hour private coaching sessions during the six weeks.
Ownership: You will gain lifelong skills that you can use not only to help yourself, but also to share with others. Keeping a simple journal will help you track your progress from where you began, through the six weeks, to your healing goal.
